hi there
my name is roger and i saw your video on youtube with that Line 6 tone port ux1 and i was wondering the system requirements for the hardware?i mean the line 6 tone port?
and one more thing, apart from the software, does the package includes the usb cable and what other stuff that came in that package?do we plug in with the ordinary guitar cable?(guitar to the line 6)
Hi Roger, the Line 6 website will have a list of the requirements but if it helps I’m running it with a Macbook (4GB RAM).
You get a USB cable in the pack and yes you just need a normal guitar jack to connect to the UX1.
Did you get the info you needed?
Hi there Lee
Surfed into your blog while researching PRS guitars
I will have funds available soon for a new PRS and have narowed it down to a choice of two.
513 or DGT I’ve noticed a review of both guitars on your blog
I play in a covers band for fun playing .. well you name it, however for pleasure I like to play Rush tunes
I own several guitars Fender Ash Tele Deluxe, 20th Anniversary Strat and a Gibson Les Paul Faded as well as a Line 6 nylon acoustic all through a Line 6 Vetta II combo, so I can access a variety of tones.
I wondered what was your opinions of each guitar
Cheers
Drew
513 is probably the more versatile of the two, you can get great single coil sounds and pretty hot humbucking tones.
DGT is more of a vintage sounding guitar, think 50′s PAF tones although it will pull of those RUSH sounds you are after, you can also coil tap so have single coil sounds on tap when you need them.
Personally I went for the DGT over 513 because I wanted a more vintage sounding guitar but both great guitars.
Dont forget to check out a Custom 24 too.
